Operational Evaluation Report

The City of Blanco water system PWS ID TX0160002 has violated the monitoring and reporting requirements set by Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) in Chapter 30, Section 290, Subchapter F. Public water systems in exceedance of an operational evaluation level are required to conduct and evaluation of their source water, treatment and distribution operations and submit a report of their findings to the TCEQ.

We failed to conduct an operational evaluation and/or submit a report to the TCEQ.

This/These violation occurred in the monitoring period(s) quarter one 2020.

We are taking the following actions to address this issue: The City of Blanco has devised a program to ensure that these reports are filed in a timely manner and submitted to TCEQ. Covid19 has played a vital part in the lack of communication as TCEQ offices have been closed since the start of the pandemic.

Please share this information with all people who drink this water, especially those who may not have received this notice directly (i.e., people in apartments, nursing homes, schools, and businesses). You can do this my posting this notice in a public place or distributing copies by hand or mail.

If you have any questions regarding this matter, you may contact Ronnie Rodriguez at (830) 833-4525.
