May 27, 2015 11:10am: Quality of Blanco's Drinking Water -- There is no truth to the rumor circulating around town that the quality of the City's drinking water has been contaminated. The City's drinking water does NOT need to be boiled, treated with chemicals, or anything else extraordinary done to it. If this situation should change, City Hall will immediately issue appropriate instructions.

Misinformation such as this rumor can be very damaging to the overall flood recovery effort. Should any citizen hear a similar, flood-related rumor, please contact City Hall at 830-833-4525 to confirm what you have heard. — Notice to the Citizens of Blanco from Mayor M. Bruce Peele

May 27, 2015 8:15am: Please leave message for Connie Barron at Blanco City Hall (830-833-4525) if you would like to provide a meal for all the emergency management personnel assisting Blanco. Connie can advise which day and what time a meal is needed for. Thank you.

May 26, 2015 2pm: Canyon Lake's water supply issues have been resolved.

May 26, 2015 12:26pm: Press release about flooding and relief efforts. Residents are cautioned to be aware of contractors or individuals offering clean-up or repair services who have not been processed through the Blanco City Hall. Residents with questions should contact the City Hall prior to agreeing to any such services.

May 26, 2015 11:00am: Please contact the Emergency Operation Center ASAP with requests for long-term housing. 830-833-4525.
